THE Petaling Jaya New Town commercial centre is now a more disabled-friendly area, thanks to a project by Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) to instal ramps and other barrier-free access facilities.
“MBPJ spent about RM197,000 to instal 41 ramps and railings, as well as make pedestrian crossings more level with pathways, ” said Bukit Gasing assemblyman Rajiv Rishyakaran.
