THE Penang Island City Council (MBPP) and the state Health Department (JKNPP) jointly held a briefing on the novel coronavirus to enable workers of local authorities to provide information on the preventive measures against the spread of the virus.
MBPP mayor Datuk Yew Tung Seang said the briefing was aimed at raising awareness to enable MBPP staff members, especially those in the frontline, such as enforcement members who meet with the public, to be more careful about hygiene to avoid being infected.
