LOUD sounds of drums and gongs in perfect harmony reverberated across Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur, prompting those who were sightseeing to check out the scene.

It was the Chinese New Year celebration hosted by Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) and it drew many locals and international tourists.
