UEM Sunrise has announced a strategic partnership with renowned local and international brands as a step forward in efforts to solidify the urban liveability ecosystem of its flagship development in Kuala Lumpur – Kiara Bay.

Based on the international benchmark for urban liveability standards, the developer has

incorporated unique features into Kiara Bay to create healthy and thriving environment for its community.

The features grouped into six pillars are; Mobility and Sustainable Accessibility; Education and Wellness; Diverse and Sustainable Local Economy; Technology, Culture and Environment; Liveable Neighbourhood; and Inclusive Communities.

Bolstering the move by providing their services at Kiara Bay will be brands such as Aeon Big, Starbucks, Celcom Axiata Bhd, Telekom Malaysia, TNB Energy Services and Time dotCom, in addition to a collaboration with technology platform provider WeChat through APAC Venture.

“Today, people are not just looking to buy houses. They also want to live in a place that is convenient, connected, and is part of a larger community, ” said UEM Sunrise Bhd managing director and chief executive Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib.

“Therefore, we are committed to conscientiously creating the most value for our customers to find their happiness through consistent innovation in our product design and development.

“The collaboration that we are building today with these brands is testament to that commitment.

“They are experts in their respective industries, and individually, their products and services contribute towards the collective ambition of making Kiara Bay a liveable city for all, ” he added.

Last October, UEM Sunrise unveiled the master plan of Kiara Bay, to be jointly developed with Melati Ehsan Group.

Located in the heart of Kepong, this 30ha integrated township offers elevated living by the waterfront given its proximity to the Kepong Metropolitan Park.

“Being next to a park is a key differentiator for Kiara Bay because of its green lung and lake access, ” said Anwar, who believes that the self-sustaining development would be the icon of

Kepong while leveraging on UEM Sunrise’s experience as a master developer known for landmark projects such as Mont Kiara in the Klang Valley and Puteri Harbour in Johor.

“Bearing the name Kiara Bay, there are expectations and brand promises. Now, it is all about delivering them, ” said Anwar Syahrin.

Kiara Bay’s first phase of development, Residensi AVA, was launched last November and is targeted for completion in mid-2024.
