THERE is a new shoe model from Adidas Golf and it is one that the company says will “push the boundaries in golf footwear”.

It goes by the name “CodeChaos” and has been designed with the modern golfer in mind, offered in both men’s and women’s styles and will be available worldwide today.

“CodeChaos is the latest from Adidas Golf and it breaks down traditional stereotypes and the idea that there is only one look for the sport, ” Adidas Golf (Malaysia) commercial and exports senior manager Eileen Fong told MetroSport at the launch in Kuala Lumpur.

“This shoe taps into the mindset of those who prefer to set themselves apart, be a bit different and create their own way around the course.

“As golf continues to evolve in an exciting phase right now, where the traditions of the game and how it can be played are being challenged, we are excited about this movement that has inspired us to break down barriers and create unique footwear and apparel for anyone who picks up a golf club, ” added Fong.

CodeChaos features a new technical spikeless outsole that blends a soft, yet durable, rubber outsole with a first-of-its-kind insert — Twistgrip — a proprietary traction system developed by evaluating heat maps in swing studies and which specifically focuses on the way golfers distribute and shift their weight throughout the swing.

In addition to featuring vibrant colour ways, the new line also features a high-top model with Boa technology to give golfers yet another alternative.

Indeed, the CodeChaos Boa offers a clean look, is waterproof, features a hydrophobic stretch-knit collar and a lightweight slip-on construction.

Golfers will also appreciate the full-length cushioning that provides all-around comfort and an energy return no matter how long they are on the course.
