Melaka to use ‘Info on Wheels’ platform to curb the spread of fake news

MELAKA: The state government via the Information Department is actively implementing the “Info on Wheels” programme to provide authentic information and updates on current issues at the state and national level in an effort to curb the spread of fake news by irresponsible parties.

Melaka communications, multimedia, non-governmental organisation (NGO), youth and sports development committee chairman Kerk Chee Yee said among the issues highlighted were the novel coronavirus and water rationing exercise in Melaka.
