Police to focus on 37 accident hotspots during festive period


Mohd Kamarudin says 567 officers were mobilised for crime prevention, as well as to monitor and maintain public order.

TANGKAK: Johor police willplace traffic personnel at 37 locations identified as accident hotspots in its “Op Selamat 16” throughout the Chinese New Year festive period.

Police chief Datuk Mohd Kamarudin Md Din said a total of 497 traffic police officers and personnel were assigned to carry out traffic monitoring and enforcement duties in the state during the period.
