Alor Gajah authority gives leg-up to disabled and financially-challenged families

MELAKA: The Alor Gajah Municipal Council (MPAG) is not only giving a 50% discount on assessment rates to the disabled and families facing financial difficulties, but in some cases is foregoing the revenue altogether.

Melaka housing, local government and environment committee chairman Datuk Tey Kok Kiew said 80 disabled residents need not pay their assessment rates.
