Club brings in new year with world-famous lion dance troupe

TPC Kuala Lumpur invited world champion troupe Kun Seng Keng Lion and Dragon Dance Associa-tion to its premises in Bukit Kiara for Chinese New Year.

The lions danced around the clubhouse to offer blessings and gave out mandarin oranges.

Children and adults alike were awestruck at the world-renowned group’s energetic performance and acrobatic moves as the lions leaped from one pole to another.

Other fun activities for members and visitors included free colouring contest for kids, mystery ang pow giveaways, snap and win gifts and many more.

“As a family club, we have a Chinese New Year lion dance every year, ” said TPC Kuala Lumpur chief executive officer Steven Thielke.

“It is great to see the adults and kids having so much fun.

“We invited Kun Seng Keng Lion and Dragon Dance Association all the way from Muar, Johor, because we wanted nothing but the best, ” he said.

Thielke wished members and everyone who attended a prosperous Year of the Rat.
