Mall prepares for CNY with campaign, festive ambience

Atria’s Year of the Rat mascot giving out ang pow to guests at the launch of its Chinese New Year campaign.

ATRIA Shopping Gallery is celebrating the Year of the Rat with loyal shoppers and rewarding them with exciting rewards and gifts.

The mall recently launched its Chinese New Year campaign at its centre court on the ground floor.

Guests were welcomed with an opening speech by Atria assistant general manager of leasing Abby Choo, followed by a launch gimmick where the doors were opened to the home of Atria’s four rat characters this year.

All four characters symbolise blessings, luck, joy and wealth, and were introduced through an animated video clip, complemented by an ingot balloon drop that resembled a rain of ingots.

The event concluded with a performance by eight lion dance troupes and a prosperity rat

mascot walkabout, where red packets and mandarin oranges were given out to the public.

All guests, including children from Yayasan Sunbeams Home, left with special gifts.

Shoppers who visit Atria will enjoy the mall’s festive ambience complemented by Instagram-worthy auspicious “rats”.

Look out for the flourishing Golden Tree standing gloriously at the centre court.

The festive feel is further enhanced with rows of peonies and red lanterns, creating depth, abundance and warmth.
