MAH Sing Group Berhad unveiled its inaugural Chinese New Year music video clip titled May You Be Blessed With The Home Of Your Dreams.
Putting a spin to the upbeat song, the Chinese character of the word “belongs” was swapped with the word “rat”, to reflect the Year of the Rat.
The unveiling of the video was in conjunction with the launch of its “Homes of Prosperity” campaign.
The song was composed by homegrown music composer and lyricist Tee Kok Leong, who is also widely known as one of the panel judges in the Astro Classic Golden Melody singing competition, which Mah Sing has sponsored for the past few years.
The video features Malaysian veteran singer Crystal Liew with special appearance by Hong Kong star and Mah Sing’s brand ambassador Eric Tsang.
With them behind Mah Sing’s first Chinese New Year video, the song highlights the best qualities of the festive season such as prosperity, wealth, happiness and the true meaning of owning an ideal home.
Mah Sing founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said, “We are excited to unveil our very first Chinese New Year video featuring our employees from different races and highlights our key projects.
“It was filmed at a few of our sales galleries and show units such as Southville City in KL South, M Oscar in Off Kuchai Lama, M Arisa in Sentul and M Aruna in Rawang.
“Liew has made a significant impact in the Malaysian music scene with her many hit songs, but this is also our second collaboration with Tee, after the launch of Mah Sing’s anthem in 2018 called ‘Home of Love’, ” he said.
With Tee’s experience and expertise in showing the best of the Malaysian Chinese culture, Leong said it was also reflected in the song lyrics.
“The video highlights one of our best assets, which is our Mah Sing family, as they remain our top priority in everything we do.
“It echoes our renewed commitment to constantly strive to greater heights in line with our tagline, ‘Reinvent Spaces. Enhance Life’, ” he said.

The “Homes of Prosperity” campaign until Feb 29 is open to all Mah Sing buyers who have successfully booked their respective properties within this period.
