MALAYSIAN diver and two-time Olympic medallist Pandelela Rinong has been appointed as the ambassador for St John Ambulance of Malaysia (SJAM).

The fresh-faced Bidayuh lass from Sarawak, who started diving at the age of eight, worked her way from the state-level to the national team and strengthened her position as a world-class athlete with wins at various international competitions.
