Rising to challenge of equipping needy children


The children from four homes enjoying themselves with ‘Darth Vader’, ‘Obi Wan Kenobi’ and members of the Interact Club and Rotaract Club.

WHEN Dr Sanjay Doshi put together the 21,000 Smiles Project for the Rotary Club of Bukit Kiara Sunrise (RCBKS) under the Yayasan Kelab Kelab Rotary Malaysia (YKKRM), his main aim was to equip underprivileged children with “Back to School Programme 2020” kits.

Each kit consisted of a set of uniform, school bags, stationery and a pair of shoes.
