EAGER to start the new year with a little act of kindness, Tiffany Lee, 29, arrived at the Wat Chaiya Mangalaram Temple in Burmah Lane to give alms to monks.

The accounts executive, along with her mother See Suan See, 62, offered food items like biscuits, instant coffee and rice packets to the monks during the annual New Year Tak Bat.
