New rubbish bins stop the stench

Residents in Kampung Segambut Luar now can throw their rubbish properly with the new bins.

AFTER 10 years of putting up with foul stench from an illegal dumpsite, residents in Kampung Segambut Luar in Kuala Lumpur can finally breathe easily with the setting up of new designated rubbish bins.

This was done through the collaboration between Segambut MP Hannah Yeoh, the Federal Territories Residential Representative Council (MPPWP), Solid Waste Management and Public Cleanliness Corporation (SWCorp) assistant enforcement officer Sinniah Visvirnathan and Segambut Luar Residents Association chairman Datuk Abdul Hadi Md Zain.
