IN THE spirit of giving, the Curve hosted 27 children from Pertubuhan Kebajikan Waja Home, Klang, to an outing at the mall in Mutiara Damansara, Petaling Jaya.
The Curve senior general manager Jazmi Kamarudin said the yearly campaign was an initiative to spread love and joy.
“This campaign is one of our corporate social responsibility projects and every year, different recipients will be invited.
“This is one of the ways to give back to society and help those in need within the community.
“There is no greater pleasure than sharing with children and ensuring they have a memorable celebration.
“We gave away goodie bags and basic necessities to the home as an early Christmas gift,” he said.
There was a specially choreographed musical of a life-sized teddy bear coming to life along with dances by performers.
“It was priceless to see the children smiling throughout the musical performances,” Jazmi added.
“I like the cute and fluffy bear decorations here,” said Pavithara,16, from the home.
The home’s caretaker Grace Devaandu, 29, said the outing was a dream come true for the children.
