Festive carnival to unite Kota Damansara folk

KOTA Damansara residents can look forward to bringing their families to the Community Christmas Carnival for some quality time together.

The carnival will be held for the 18th consecutive year tomorrow, from 10am to 3pm, at a multipurpose hall in Section 7, Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya.

Nine churches located in the vicinity are involved in the carnival, namely Banner of Love, Balai Baptist Kalvari, Community Baptist Church Kota Damansara, Full Gospel Assembly Kota Damansara, i Hope City Church, Mega Chinese Methodist Church, Mega Subang Chinese Methodist Church, SIB Life and The Gospel Avenues.

This year’s carnival will feature fun and exciting activities including games, children’s colouring contest, song and dance performances, hand art, face painting, nail-painting and lucky draws.

A futsal competition which attracted many sports enthusiasts will return with plenty of attractive prizes up for grabs.

The organisers will be preparing more than 3,000 Christmas gifts to be given away at the games stalls as well as well as lucky draws with prizes such as a

40-inch Full HD LED TV up for grabs.

A variety of food such as mee mamak, nasi goreng, burgers, nasi lemak and drinks will be served during the carnival.

Visitors can also browse for bargains at the popular jumble exchange including secondhand clothes, toys and other preloved items.
