TOMEI Consolidated Bhd, known for its 51-year journey in the gold and jewellery business, has launched its new perspective “5D Gold” using a new technology.

After numerous research and development, Batar Jewellery, the principle holder of the collection, has reversed traditional crafting skills with advanced skills and

technologies called “5D Gold Technologies” to overcome challenges faced by customers.

5D Gold is not an extended version of the 3D Gold but one with multifunctional features in overcoming five challenges that consumers face, hence its name.

The five major challenges are discolouration and tarnishing issues, deformation, scratch resistance, abrasion resistance and lasting brilliance.

5D Gold, a 999 gold jewellery collection, significantly takes the gold crafting technology to the next level, making it a new powerful weapon to double up the production and profit growth to the retail stores.

The launch took place at Tomei’s headquarters in Jalan Kelang Lama.

Present were Tomei founder and group executive chairman Tan Sri Dr Ng Teck Fong and Batar group chairman Edmund Chau.

Tomei group managing director Datuk Ng Yih Pyng said another revolutionary product in the gold industry was born with the 5D Gold.

He said the company had been working together with foreign manufacturers and principals to produce high-quality products and develop their retail markets.

“Batar Group from Shenzhen in China are our privileged distributor of 24K gold jewellery in Malaysia.

“In 2014, we introduced 3D Gold jewellery in Malaysia via our retail network, ” he added.

The strategic alliance between Tomei and Batar, he said, has flourished due to the latter’s commitment in safeguarding the best interest of consumers and the pursuit of superior product quality

“This is exactly our goal in Tomei in increasing public confidence towards our company and our products.

“The latest 5D Gold has managed to solve five major pain points of consumers while wearing the 24K gold jewellery.

“Significantly, these 5D Gold products are impressive and they acquire the unparalleled potential to lead the trend of gold jewellery, ” Yih Pyng added.

He said Tomei Gold and Jewellery was the exclusive distributor of 5D Gold in Malaysia and first in South-East Asia.

The 5D Gold has unique selling points and craftsmanship.

Its unique 5D pure gold colour is perfectly integrated into design to create an exquisite yellow tone.

The smooth and mirror-like surface sparkles, creating a perfect outline of elegant simplicity to the design.

5D Gold is resistant to scratches and abrasions and three times tougher than pure gold.

It is suitable to be worn to work or in everyday life.

The 5D Gold is resistant to dents and not easily torn or broken under pressure. It is also easy to clean

The first 5D Gold trendsetter design series is available at 28 Tomei retail stores nationwide.
