An international Christmas town has been set up in Intermark Mall to bring shoppers a taste of Europe until Jan 2,2020.
For the first time ever and in collaboration with the embassies of France, Norway and the Czech Republic, the mall’s Ground Atrium takes on a quaint European Christmas market scene with enchanting festive decor.
Enveloping a grand fountain draped in vibrant red poinsettias and twinkling fairy lights are three distinctive Christmas trees meticulously decorated by each embassy to showcase its unique Christmas heritage.
French ambassador to Malaysia Frédéric Laplanche, Norwegian ambassador to Malaysia Gunn Jorid Roset and Czech Republic ambassador to Malaysia Milan Hupcej as well as Pavilion REIT Malls chief executive officer (retail) Datuk Joyce Yap and Pavilion REIT chief executive officer Datuk Philip Ho attended the launch.
As it is located close to several embassies and multinational companies, Intermark Mall appeals to both locals and the international community.
“It is with great excitement that we use this opportunity to bring Christmas across continents to the heart of Kuala Lumpur this festive season, ” said Yap.
Shoppers can browse through the Christmas market-inspired booths that showcase each of the three countries’ local products.
Among the products on offer are pastries and sweet treats from Ladurée, an array of syrups from Monin as well as beauty and skincare items by Novexpert and Thalgo at the French booth.
Norwegian booth highlights include Bangsar Smokehouse delicacies, Digi mobile service provider and Jordan dental products.
Over at the Czech Republican booth, shoppers can peruse gorgeous crystals from Crystalite Bohemia, beauty products by Dermacol and food by family-owned business Emco.
Shoppers can bring home delicate opulent tableware as Christmas Rewards if they spend RM500 in a single receipt until Jan 2,2020.
