Tree planting to raise cancer awareness

MELAKA: To spread awareness on lung cancer, Pantai Hospital Ayer Keroh (PHAK) carried out a tree planting-ceremony at the hospital ground.

PHAK chief executive officer Tan Yew Aik and the hospital’s consultant in internal medicine Dr R. Muventhiran, cardiothoracic surgeon Dr Leong Kin Seng and Lung Cancer Network Malaysia (LCNM) president Dr Anand Sachitanandan planted the tree as a symbol of their initiative for healthy cancer-free lungs.
