Aman Central hopes to contribute towards the enhancement and advancement of participating schools co-curriculum activities like Sekolah Kebangsaan Sultanah Asma Marching Band via its ABC CSR Campaign.
AMAN Central is working hand in hand with the Education Ministry to create a ‘better change’ for schools in Alor Setar, Kedah.
This is the second year the mall is conducting a corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme using point system accumulation, called ‘ABC CSR Campaign’.
With the Federal Government promoting and underlining the crucial role of CSR as a contributing factor to the country’s growth, Aman Central also carried out their initiatives by committing wholeheartedly to its effort in supporting the local communities.
The winners from last year’s campaign SJK (C) Keat Hwa (S), SJK (C) Pumpong Alor Setar and SMK Sultanah Asma all walked away with a RM10,000 cash prize to upgrade their school’s facilities and reward their teachers and students.
This school holidays, Aman Central is bringing hope and support for another 15 participating schools.
They include SMK Syed Mohamed Al-Bukhary, Kolej Sultan Abdul Hamid, SMK Sultanah Bahiyah, SMK Dato Syed Omar, SMK Mergong, SMK Tun Sharifah Rodziah, SMK Tunku Abdul Malik, SMK Tunku Abdul Rahman, SK Taman Uda, SK Taman Rakyat, SK Sultanah Asma, SK Convent Alor Setar, SK Jalan Pegawai, SJKC Keat Hwa (K) and SJKC Pei Hwa.
Aman Central believes that everyone can make a difference and with this initiative, shoppers, students, teachers, family members, and even the school alumni can have the chance to make a significant and meaningful contribution to their schools or to the school of their choice.
The point system accumulation is based on collection of points per school via spending receipt where 10 points is equivalent to a token earned with every RM100 spent in which shoppers can combine up to three receipts.
For every token received, the school will need to drop their token at the ABC box with their school’s label located at the mall’s information counter on the ground floor.
The top three schools with the most tokens will be selected to win RM10,000.
Aman Central’s CSR campaign is designed to deliver sustainable value to the society at large, and all are invited to help contribute to the schools’ enhancement and advancement.
Commencing from now until Dec 31, the campaign entitles contributors to redeem a free Kidzoona voucher for every RM200 spent in a single receipt.
Get an extra 10 points for your favourite school by simply sharing the ABC post on Aman Central’s Facebook Page and tagging three of your friends with hashtags #ACContest #ABetterChange2019 and presenting the post to Aman Central’s customer service ambassadors at the information counter as proof. However, the extra bonus points is valid only until Sunday.
