IT is vital for the public to know their rights and responsibilities as consumers so that they can make informed decisions and safeguard their interests, said Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry.

Its minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said this was important in the digital era, as the boundless nature of cyberspace makes policing the market hugely challenging for authorities.
