Move to enhance performance

ISKANDAR PUTERI: The Social Welfare Department is currently upgrading the education and qualifications of community rehabilitation centre (PDK) supervisors and trainers throughout Malaysia, including Johor.

State tourism, women, family and community development committee chairman Liow Cai Tung said previously, the department did not have specific qualification criteria in place when appointing trainers, who only needed a Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) cert.
