MPK councillor proposes underground storm drain for flood-prone area


Nalan wants an underground storm drain built to divert floodwaters from the monsoon drain in Jalan Batu Unjur, Klang.

A PROPOSAL has been made to build an underground storm drain across Jalan Batu Unjur in Klang to divert floodwaters away from the Taman Bayu Perdana commercial area.

The 22.7m underground storm drain equipped with automated pumps would channel the diverted water to the monsoon drain at Lorong Sentosa 6, Taman Bayu Tinggi.
