A FITTING send-off for a great teacher, that was the sentiment of those present at the retirement celebration of Dr Sim Hock Keat, the principal of St Xavier’s Institution (SXI) in Penang.

Starting at the school as a teacher in 1993, Sim rose through the ranks and was appointed school principal in 2017.
