MAY the force be with you this Christmas at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur as the mall presents “A Starry Christmas” in conjunction with the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which concludes the Skywalker saga in the latest instalment of the Star Wars franchise.

Last year, Pavilion KL collaborated with Disney to bring shoppers and visitors the award-winning campaign “Disney Celebrate The Magic – Dream Christmas”, in conjunction with Mickey’s 90 Years.

For this year’s Star Wars extravaganza, Pavilion KL collaborates with The Walt Disney Company Malaysia to capture the magic of Christmas.

Star Wars fans will be treated to a host of exciting activities, including the opportunity to meet and greet favourite Star Wars characters C-3PO, R2-D2 and Stormtroopers; as well as lessons in lightsaber-training in the quest to become a Jedi at the largest Star Wars Jedi Experience.

Star Wars fans can also embark on an intergalactic adventure at the centre court adorned with towering red and blue-lit lightsabers until Dec 31.

As you march down the Spanish Steps, you will be welcomed by red Sith Troopers.

Hovering over the precinct is none other than the largest replica of the Millennium Falcon, awarded by the Malaysia Book of Records. Measuring a massive 9.1m by 12.1m, the Millennium Falcon replica “rises” majestically above the Centre Court, exciting visitors with a light show at 8pm every night.

Do not forget to drop by for an interactive experience at the Game Interactive Booth, featuring the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order by PlayStation; take a seat in the Millennium Falcon cockpit and experience light jump through light projection at the Cockpit Access, or pose at the Hyperdrive Tunnel with a background of explosion of light that emulates the look of jumping onto a hyperdrive.

Fans can also purchase special Star Wars merchandise at the centre court.

At the launch, Pavilion KL chief executive officer (retail) Datuk Joyce Yap said, “Our collaboration with Disney has presented shoppers and visitors with opportunities to experience Mickey, Marvel and now Star Wars, in a highly immersive and fully engaging way.

“It is our commitment here at Pavilion KL to continue raising the bar, bringing shoppers and visitors more amazing and creative experiences at each opportunity.”

Shoppers can redeem a limited edition Star Wars cabin size luggage with a minimum spend of RM5,000 in a single receipt (RM3,000 with Maybank

credit card), or redeem a complimentary limited edition Star Wars vacuum flask with a minimum spend of RM1,500 in a single receipt (RM1,000 with Maybank credit card).

There will also be Christmas performances, Santa meet-and-greet and carolling at the mall.
