Training to strengthen skills of rescue personnel in highlands

DUNGUN: Sixty rescue personnel from various agencies in Terengganu are undergoing training to strengthen their ability to rescue and manage victims in mountainous and highland areas.

Terengganu Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) director Mohamad Shoki Hamzah said among the agencies involved in the three-day training session at the Chemerong Waterfalls here were JBPM, the police, Terengganu Forestry Department and mountain guides.
