HAMPER specialist Jin Ye Ye revealed its brand-new hampers for the upcoming Chinese New Year celebration at a product launch in Petaling Jaya.
The Johor-based company said the theme for the lunar new year was “Hao Yun An Kang”, which means good luck and good health.
“Gift-giving is an important tradition for the Chinese, especially during Chinese New Year, ” said Jin Ye Ye founder and managing director Alan Tan.
He said they wanted to preserve traditional culture and provide convenience to their customers.
Tan said health should be the main priority when people give gifts.
“The products we picked for the hampers are of good quality and centre on health such as bird’s nest, ginseng and chicken essence.
“With a healthier life, you can enjoy your wealth better, ” he said.
Tan said one of the challenges people face during Chinese New Year was what type of gifts to give their friends and family.
“With our help, people can now pick the right hamper for the right person.
“Giving out hampers in Malaysia is a unique tradition, so I hope we can spread it internationally as well as to the younger generation, ” he added.
Jin Ye Ye ambassador and Hong Kong actress Nancy Sit said she had been collaborating with the company since last year.
“Their hampers solved my problem during Chinese New Year because each is unique.
“They also have various designs which I have not seen in Hong Kong, ” said Sit.
Jin Ye Ye hampers are available at more than 200 branches in Malaysia and can also be purchased online.
