Mixed reaction for suggestion to postpone assessment tax hike


EXEMPTING low to middle-income families from the increase in assessment tax would be better than deferring the rate hike, said Lee Khai Loon (PH-Machang Bubok).

Lee said in terms of revenue, there should not be much effect if exemption on the tax was given to those in the low and middle- income bracket.
