THE welfare of families squatting on a 7ha land in Sungai Dua should not be neglected in the midst of plans to develop the land for a new police contingent headquarters, said A. Kumaresan (PH-Batu Uban).
At present, he said, there were 61 families, four Chinese temples, an Indian temple and 12 workshops that occupy the land located behind the Penang Pesta site in Sungai Nibong.
