THE once-empty plot of land filled with undergrowth beside Lorong Zoo 7 in Ayer Itam is now a lush and green public park.

More than 10 raintrees within the park provide cooling shade to park-goers during the day while at night, LED lamps fitted with solar and wind chargers keep the 2,300 sq metre place well lit.
