No decision yet on sewage plants maintenance

JOHOR BARU: The Johor Baru City Council (MBJB) is awaiting response from the state government on matters pertaining to maintenance work on sewage treatment plants and facilities before handing them over to Indah Water Konsortium (IWK) to manage.

MBJB mayor Datuk Amran A. Rahman said this came about after the Federal Government decided that the management of sewage plants be handed over to IWK starting from Feb 1 next year.
