The butterfly pea or pokok telang is a creeper that grows easily. The flower is often used as food colouring for nasi kerabu as well as in Nyonya kuih.
Sealing Wax Palm also known as Cyrtostachys renda. This popular palm tree got its non-scientific name after its red tree branch which is the similar colour of wax used to seal envelopes. Its other name is lipstick palm.
Frangipani are a common sight in Bandar Utama 1.
