CHENG Yen Pheng’s efforts paid off when she was won the 2019 UOB Painting of the Year (Malaysia) competition.

For her artwork titled “Tug of War: My Homeland”, Cheng received a cash prize of RM100,000 and will vie against winning entries from Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand in the 2019 UOB South-East Asian Painting of the Year contest. A winner will be announced on Nov 6 at the contest in Singapore.
