Calmer coastal areas on Tuesday morning, says Klang bomba chief but warns residents to stay alert


ABSENCE of rain and strong winds caused the sea to rise in gentle rolls along Selangor’s coast with a 5.7m high tide at 6.33am Tuesday (Oct 29), leaving low-lying areas in Port Klang, Klang and Kapar unaffected.

Fire and Rescue Department Klang headquarters chief Samsol Maarif Saibani said: “It did not rain and the winds along the coastal areas were much tamer than expected.
