LOCAL companies and small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs) will stand to benefit from the establishment of a smart trade facilitation and intelligent logistics platform in Penang, says Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow.

He said the logistics platform would enable businesses to capitalise on digital economy as well as cross-border trade.
