JOHOR BARU: Deepavali bazaars in the state, which were previously marred by numerous problems including fights, are now popular and also attracting visitors from Singapore.
Domestic trade and consumerism committee chairman Dr S. Ramakrishnan said presently there were three main areas for the bazaars, Jalan Ungku Puan in Johor Baru, Tampoi and Kluang.
