JUST the fact that Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt’s new movie shares the company’s name was reason enough for Adastra IP to organise a private screening of Ad Astra at GSC Mid Valley in Kuala Lumpur.

Invited to the event were clients, associates, staff and 10 children from Stepping Stone welfare home in Taman Seputeh, Kuala Lumpur, who were accompanied by their housefather Johnson Rajahser.

Rajahser had vetted the movie beforehand to ensure there was no violence or negative messages.

Adastra IP managing directer Mohan Kodivel said this was the second time children from the home had attended the company’s event. The first was a Christmas event in 2015.

The company was set up 15 years ago to provide workable solutions for patents, trademark, copyrights and industrial designs.
