PONTIAN: A visit to the district will not be complete without stopping at the Pontian fish market, about 50km from Johor Baru.
The market is known for its supply of large fishes such as grouper (kerapu), threadfin (senangin), pomfret (bawal), red snapper (ikan merah) and stingray.
