Helping hand for the needy

WITH nowhere else to turn to, 32-year-old P. Rajeswary and her five children almost became homeless after failing to pay rent.

The widow, who lives with her mother-in-law, sought shelter in an abandoned house for two days before being rescued by members of the Aruloli Sakambari Thittam Selangor association (AST).
