THE Women Welfare Council’s (WWC) aquaponics project will help generate a sustainable income to support its operations as a shelter home and nursery for lower-income parents.
Soroptimist International Club of Penang (SIP) president Michele Lim says SIP donated RM30,000 for the aquaponics project, which uses aquaculture and hydroponics methods to grow fish and plants in an integrated system.
