Devotees ask time-off for Thaipusam

MELAKA: A state exco member is proposing that Chinese who celebrate Thaipusam be granted time off, like any other Hindu devotee during the festival.

State health and anti-drugs committee chairman Low Chee Leong said he would table the proposal to Melaka Chief Minister Adly Zahari at the weekly exco meeting tomorrow.
