PLASTIC household producer Ee-Lian Enterprise (M) Sdn Bhd is lending its full support to Penang Starwalk 2019 by sending a 112-member team to participate in the event.

Its managing director Teoh Han Chuan said he wanted his employees to bond and stay healthy together through Starwalk.

“We have staff from both Ee-Lian and our subsidiary EE Jia Housewares (M) Sdn Bhd taking part. Starwalk is a good platform for them to get together and have fun while sweating it out, ” he said.

He said the company often organises outdoor activities such as hiking as well as weekly badminton and Zumba sessions for its 200-strong employees.

One of Malaysia’s leading plasticware manufacturers, Ee-Lian’s premium products are marketed under the brandnames Elianware and Eplas. The company will be celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.

Teoh said Ee-Lian places strong emphasis on research and development with new products hitting the shelf every month.

“To date, we have over 1,600 types of creative and attractive products catering to not only local demands but are exported to more than 30 countries globally.

“Our latest range is the e-Concept series featuring the e-Keeper and e-Organiser collection for refrigerator storage. These space-saving products with stackable feature are a great way to compartmentalise your fridge, ” he enthused.

He added that Ee-Lian is also the first plastic product manufacturer in Malaysia to use the UL certified Green Label environmental accreditation on its products.

Organised by Star Media Group, Penang Starwalk 2019 will be held at Gurney Drive on Oct 20.
