BEFORE purchasing your first home or upgrading your current one, visiting a showroom can help you envision the space that you will eventually call your own.
Realising this, Gamuda Land had its Gamuda Cove grand opening at its state-of-the-art experience gallery to showcase its latest projects and developments in the growing township of Gamuda Cove.
Besides the grand opening, Gamuda also launched nearly half of its limited edition Palma Sands premium, featuring 490 units with dual-frontage design and the backs facing the central park and lake.
With a land size of 22ft x 75ft and built-up space of 2,271sq ft, these limited-edition units feature four bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.
Mindfully designed with a balcony for the back room to capture the view of the expansive greenery and the lake at the central park, these units come at an indicative selling price starting from RM1mil.
Palma Sands homes also enjoy a long and wide driveway, with a cul-de-sac system to ensure safety and comfort for road users. The roads in the precinct also have natural buffers between pathways and driveways to segregate pedestrians from moving vehicles for road safety.
Slated for completion and delivery in 2022, the Palma Sands two-storey link homes have a gross development value (GDV) of RM455mil.
In addition, Maya Bay Residences was also launched. It consists of 972 serviced apartment units over three towers — Tower A and B with 22 storeys each and Tower C with 24 storeys, and is expected to be completed in three years.
Present at the launch were Gamuda Land chief executive officer Ngan Chee Meng and the senior management team.
“We have been receiving good response on Gamuda Cove due to its good location with high visibility along the Elite Highway. With the interchange opened, we are ready to show people the personality of Gamuda Cove as we have promised — a nature sanctuary as well as a smart city, ” said Ngan.
“With mindful placemaking that balances people and nature, we are able to create a fun and exciting place where the community can come together while paying tribute to the natural environment.
”We are very excited to discover the endless possibilities that we can bring to the Gamuda Cove community, ” he said.
With an upfront investment of RM150mil, the opening of the interchange located at KM26.70 will now provide direct access from Elite Highway to the 619ha Gamuda Cove township. The interchange leads directly to the 151ha commercial business district (CBD) where the new Gamuda Cove Experience Gallery is currently located.
The 20,000sq ft Gamuda Cove Experience Gallery is the first in Malaysia featuring modular and modern designs that are fully constructed using Gamuda’s innovative digital Industrialised Building System (IBS), prefabricated with Sirim-approved materials.
The Experience Gallery gives guests a comprehensive look at what Gamuda Cove has to offer, with its immersive virtual reality experience rooms and show atrium also featuring Palma Sands and Maya Bay Residences show units.
Gamuda Land chief operating officer Aw Sei Cheh said, “There are also plans to develop a 20ha area for signature lifestyle water homes as part of Gamuda Cove, involving a GDV of RM500mil.”
He added that the 100 units of lifestyle villas would be launched by March 2020.
Held in tandem with the launch was Malaysia’s first Pinkfong and Baby Shark indoor carnival. There was also a meet and greet with Harith Iskander, who performed for visitors.
Gamuda Cove’s other slated projects include the 20ha Discovery Park, which comprises two recreational zones — the Adventure Park and Hangout Village. With Discovery Park’s first phase to be open by the end of 2019, visitors can look forward to South-East Asia’s first ever Aerobar, a tethered hot air balloon station, a beach pool club, indoor go-karting, a drive-through coffeehouse and The Hive, a community space for art and food enthusiasts.
A water theme park will also be opened by 2021 with ecotourism activities at Paya Indah Wetlands by the end of this year.
