Swedish firm’s new plant to create 600 jobs

SWEDISH construction company, Scandinavian Industrialised Building Systems (SIBS), will be expanding through the construction of a new 46,450sq m facility at Penang Science Park in Bukit Minyak, on the Penang mainland.

Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said the new facility located just about one-kilometre away from its current factory would be four times larger with not only increased production capacity but also wider job opportunities.
