JOHOR BARU: A labourer learned a painful lesson – when buying a big-ticket item such as a car, it’s best not to trust in friends.

Salehan Kamaruddin, 31, said he was disappointed and regretted trusting one of his friends – a car salesman – when he decided to buy a used Proton Waja.
