Riding to Sabah’s interior for conservation awareness


Thirty bikers from KSRP ventured into Sabah’s interior for a five-day journey into the deep forest of Imbak Canyon Conservation Area (ICCA).

THIRTY bikers from Kelab Sukan & Rekreasi Petronas (KSRP) ventured into Sabah’s interior recently for a five-day journey into the deep forest of Imbak Canyon Conservation Area (ICCA) from the heart of Kuala Lumpur, to raise awareness of the importance of forest conservation.

The bikers’ journey kicked-off from Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu, before they traversed with their Sabahan counterparts through Tamparuli, Kundasang, Ranau, Telupid and Kampung Imbak, the gateway village to ICCA in Tongod, before proceeding further inland to ICCA.
