KUANTAN: The state government said encroachment into the Kuala Terla water catchment area in Cameron Highlands is the source of pollution, especially in Sungai Ichat.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail said this stopped the water from the river from being channelled to the Kuala Terla water treatment plant to be processed.
