Spa director Datin Michelle Lim said each steam bath session is worth RM48. Each voucher also comes with a cash voucher worth RM100 for those keen on trying out the spa’s massages and facial treatments.
The first-time sponsor for Starwalk is also giving away 10 vouchers for 30-minute back massage sessions worth RM188 each and five vouchers for 60-minute body massages worth RM268 each.
“Our vision is to get clients to experience tranquillity, peace of mind and maintain a healthy body. Here, they can spend time away from mundane activities and rejuvenate their minds,” Lim said.
Yemaya Spa is a wellness company set up by the same owners of Chinois Spa in Singapore.
“We opened this outlet in Penang to serve the local market in 2018. We want to introduce our facilities and services to Starwalk participants as well as to promote wellness in the community.
“Our philosophy is simple. We wish to provide outstanding treatment and programmes for a healthy lifestyle using the best premium products,” she said.
Associated with Yemaya Spa in Penang are some 26 smaller Yemaya Life Studios across the different states in the country.
Lim, who is also a certified yoga and pilates instructor, said the outlet has yoga instructors who are mostly certified masseuses.
“A team of experienced masseuse at the spa will be conducting our massage sessions, and we have five rooms here.
“Many do not know that doing an hour of massage is equivalent to one hour of yoga. You can always pamper yourself with our range of signature massages,” she said at the spa in G Hotel Kelawei, Level 23, Penang.
The spa also provides facial therapy using natural ingredients such as honey, yoghurt and dried flowers.
“Our skin can be very sensitive. At Yemaya Spa, the facial will be done using natural formulation for your skin.
“Anything safe for consumption is safe for your skin,” she said before handing over 22,000 vouchers for the steam bath to Star Media Group client brand marketing senior representative Sandy Kow.
