JOHOR BARU: The ongoing dry spell and heatwave in Johor have affected several water treatment plants here, with some expected to resort to a scheduled water supply programme.
State international trade, investment and utilities committee chairman Jimmy Puah said the Sungai Gembut water treatment plant in Kota Tinggi could no longer operate normally due to the significant drop in water supply.
